Hi, my name is Brian Brunckhorst, and for the last 7 years I have been learning about the Laundromat business. I have found out, the dos and don'ts about this business, sometimes the hard way, and I want to share my experiences with you!
When the startup company that I was working for closed its doors I found myself without a job and the income and security that a job provided. I remember the feeling I had and worried about how I was going to provide

for my family. I decided that it was time to make sure that a job was not my only source of income. I wanted something that I could do part-time, something that would make enough money to support us if I ever got laid off again. It didn't have to make me rich. I just wanted a safety net.
I looked at all different kinds of businesses before choosing a coin laundry, everything from franchise sandwich shops to window covering companies; from maid services to dating services. The thing I found out was that with all of these different types of businesses, paying them would be like buying for a job. Sure I would be my own boss but I would have to work full time in them. That wasn't a safety net, it was a sentence and I would be chained to it. Of all the businesses I looked at, only a Laundromat fit my idea of a part-time business that could make the kind of money I needed for basic survival. So I started my search.
After looking and looking for just the "right store," my wife and I finally found one and bought our first Laundromat in Hayward, California. In just two years, using my exclusive strategies, we were able to increase its gross revenue from $5,300 a month to over $12,000 a month, while reducing the Expense to Sales ratio from 67% to 46%. To put it another way, our little money machine puts over $6,500 a month in our pocket. Why, that is as much as some people make working full time and I only spend on average 5 to 10 hours a week managing the store.
The profits from this store were more than just a safety net! It replaced my wife's income and she retired from her job to spend more time with the kids. By the time we had our third store, the profits replaced my income as well and I walked away from engineering for good. It is possible to live the life you've always wanted!
These are the same strategies which I want to share with you, because this business has literally changed my life. The reason I created this site was to help others follow the same path that I took and to give back to the industry that has given so much to me.
One way I can help is if you sign up for my Laundromat Success Newsletter on the left side of this page. In the Newsletter I'll let you know any time I have a hot tip that any potential buyer, owner or manager can use.
These tips will come on average 1 to 2 times a month. They won't be done on any schedule, but rather, whenever I find a great new idea that I want to share with you. Things are changing so rapidly in this industry that I want to give you my latest ideas that I find are working with my stores. There is no cost for the newsletter and you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking a link at the bottom of each newsletter.
I receive a lot of email from people interested in learning more about the coin laundry business. They ask me questions about how to buy a Laundromat, what are the best kinds of stores to look for, and how to know that you are getting a fair price. I get so many in fact, that I recently invited them all to join me on a 1-Hour Teleseminar. They wanted to know more about the coin laundry business, what it was like and how to get started. On the call I went over in detail the answers to many of their questions and I gave them my perspective on the coin laundry business.
I discussed the new opportunities in coin laundry industry and what kinds of returns you could expect to make. Believe me; this business makes a whole lot more than you will in the bank! I also walked everyone through the numbers of a typical non-attended Laundromats Profit and Loss Statement and explained in detail the most common income and expense items to expect. I examined how financing a store changes the return on investment and delve into the pros and cons of coin laundry ownership. Then I wrapped up the call by answering some of the most frequently asked questions I receive. The entire Teleseminar lasted about an hour and it was a great call.
I could easily charge $97 for access to this course and at that price, it would be a great value, but the coin laundry business has done so much for me and my family that I want to give back to the industry that has given me so much. So I would like to invite you to take my 1-Hour Teleseminar at no charge. That’s right, I would love for you to learn more about this exciting business and how you can get involved and so I want to give you access to it for FREE, as my gift, simply for signing up for my newsletter.
Also, I encourage you to read some of the Articles that I have included in recent newsletters on this site to find out more about the Laundromat business and lifestyle.
